Basic Rights Equality PAC is a state political action committee affiliated with Basic Rights Oregon. Basic Rights Equality PAC works to elect fair-minded candidates into public office, including local, state, and legislative offices.

Over the past decade we have helped elect pro-equality leaders including Governor Kitzhaber and former Governor Kulongoski, Secretary of State Kate Brown, House Democratic Leader Tina Kotek and dozens of state and local elected officials.

As Basic Rights Equality PAC is a registered PAC with the state of Oregon, individual contributions of $50 (or $100 for couples filing jointly) qualify for the Oregon State Political Tax Credit, thereby reducing your taxes or increasing your refund.
